I joined Genes Reunited some time around Christmas, and for a short while found it interesting, but didn't get any new information. They wrote to me yesterday suggesting that I should search the 1901 "Free", which I tried, only to find that it was only the very first search of the name that was free - when they found the person, it was necessary to buy 500 credits for £5.00 - which I did, of course. It's 50 credits per look at a household - so I am only going to get 10 peeks for my £5 which I think it quite expensive. Genes Reunited are "managing" the 1901 Census on behalf of the National Archives. Sorry if you all knew this already, but I didn't so I thought I would pass it on. Marged
