On the 1861 census for Liverpool , Joseph is 17 years old and is listed as a baker and living on Blundell St. MY MOTHER TOLD ME THAT HE WAS THE FIRST PERSON IN ENGLAND TO MAKE "DOG BISCUITS" AND HE HAD HIS PICTURE IN" THE NEWS PAPER."
