    1. Henry Edward Street / Corfield

    3. Hi, Listers My great great grandfather, William Joseph Corfield was born William Joseph CAULFIELD in Henry Edward Street in 1861. We believe that his father died, his mother remarried and he ran away. I've benver been able to find him on the 1871, 1881 or 1891 census, although we do have a possible boy on 1871, who could be living with a step-father. We have his marriage certificate to his second wife, my great great grandmother, in 1892. We knoew he had a son, Billy, from a first marriage, who emigrated to Australia. I found Billy's birthdate from the Australian archives, and received his birthcertificate today. Billy was born in Henry Edward Street! Date - 12/11/1886; father - William Corfield; mother Catherine, nee unreadable (looks like Ragow or something). Catherine registered the birth herself in January 1881, but must have died soon after. I would like to search the 1891 census for Henry Edward Street, but have no idea in which district it was based. The description of enumeration districts on Ancestry is different for 1891, and I cannot find the streets listed on the index. All of which is a long-winded way of asking if anyone has access to a street index for 1891, and could tell me the piece number / folios for Henry Edward Street. Fingers crossed Rachel www.tribalpages.com/tribes/rachelr
