This is on behalf of a friend of mine. I can't find the spouse for Stephen CUTHBERT (b1828 Lpool) married 1849, I will forward page to you with Vol etc. His daughter Ellen Jane,is my gt gma married my Italian gpa. Have baptism for her on LDS, mother stated as Martha, no surname. Stephen had 3 children to ? James(b Manchester 1852), Ellen J(1854Lpool) & Sarah before he remarries a younger woman(Mary Jane Smith 1867) & has another 8!! He was a tailor, living in Everton in 1871 census. On Ellen's marriage cert he was living in london Road in the city. Haven't a clue why they would have been in Manchester at the time of James birth...I have searched for a death of Martha Cuthbert with no luck.
