    3. Gay, Thanks for all your time and efforts on this. Friend that sent me the image also copied and pasted the transcription of the household and after I sent email to the list I took a peek at the image. I can't make it out myself...so maybe someone else with access to Ancestry can take a look and see what they think it is...I only glanced at the census image after seeing the transcription and didn't notice the Holley/Jolley till after I went on to search for something else. Thanks in advance for any and all help with this, Lainee At 10:16 PM 4/28/2005, you wrote: >Hi Lainee, >Did you see these birth records for an Eliza and Elizabeth Jolly in 1854 on >Lancashire BMD: >JOLLY Eliza Chorley Chorley CHO/21/1 >JOLLY Elizabeth Chorley Chorley CHO/20/62 > >She could be the Elizabeth Holley in your 1861 census record. > >Also on IGI: >Eliza <Jolly> 22 OCT 1854 Saint Peter, Chorley, Lancashire, England >Parents: > Father: William Jolly > Mother: Eliza > Batch No.: C162921 >Mother was Elizabeth! > >I tried to find a death record for William Jolly but no luck. > > >Gay > >-----Original Message----- >From: Lainee Denton-Jones [mailto:lainee@earthlink.net] >Sent: April 28, 2005 7:43 PM >To: ENG-MERSEYSIDE-L@rootsweb.com >Subject: RE: [ENG-MERSEY] James Barton > >Gay, > >I saw that one, but the wife's name is Elizabeth...every record I have >found mentioning her has always been just plain Elizabeth.
