    3. Hello folks: I am wondering if anyone is going to the Liverpool History centre and could do a quick look-up for me. I live in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. My gg grandfather NEAL NILES was born 1816 in St. Maartens West Indies and moved back to Liverpool around 1839 where he was baptised at age 23. Neal was a shipsmith. His father was listed as William NILES shipwright who married Ellen SPARROW 1804 in Liverpool. and was christened as an adult 1809 Liverpool. They lived on Bolton Street along with Ellens sister Jane (WILLENGBECK) . William died 1818 in St. Maartens. I have an admonition that says..... Know all men present that we Ellen Niles of Liverpool in the county of Lancashire widow, Ellen Abram of the same place widow and Rachel Stevenson of the same place widow firmly bound ....1812 Ellen Niles was the widow of ..... William Niles late of the merchant ship Douglas belonging to the port of Liverpool in the county of Lancashire ...marine deceased The 16th day of March 1812 within....he died Nov 12, 1811. It is possible that the above William NILES was the grandfather of Neal Niles and father of William. I don't know what to do next in finding out more about this William of the admon. ns. I have looked through the transcriptions for Liverpool but they are missing information. I need the original parish records. If anyone is going to the Liverpool History Centre and could do a look-up for me on the original parish records for the below.....I would really appreciate it. The original parish films I ordered in won't arrive until almost the end of January and I am stuck untill then. 21 SEP 1809 William Niles c Saint Peter, Liverpool, Lancashire, England. I am hoping it will say how old he is and where born. 10 NOV 1839 Neal NIles c.St Nicholas, Liverpool, Lancashire, England. It might say where his parents were born, Thank you so much if anyone can help. Dianne
