    3. They stayed Marged because some of them were Jewish and they knew they were safe here. A lot of Polish people here still are Jewish. I met one a long time ago when I was ballroom dancing at competition standard, who partnered me on a Saturday night at the local Town Hall and who told me "I am Jew; don't tell Mister Hitler" ;-) His sense of humour.
