    3. Hello everyone, I am trying to establish the maiden name of my great-great grandmother Catherine Seddon. In the 1871 census they are living in Canal Street Bootle and their eldest child Mary is 9 meaning she was born circa 1861/2 which in turn suggests they were married around 1860. I have searched the marriage records from 1859-1862 and can only find one Thomas Seddon marrying a Catherine which took place in Manchester in March 1861. I do not know of any Manchester connection as Thomas was born in Ince Blundell. Can anyone suggest a way of establishing whether or not these are my relatives ? Best wishes for the new year.
