Hi List I wondered if anyone could help with this poser. I have several marriages to look up at the aforementioned church but on a visit to Chester Record Offices I find that these have not been deposited at the CRO. Also a year or two ago I rang Christchurch with regards to seeing the records but unfortunately they were stolen by someone researching their family history. I take it these will be with the Bishop's records? Regards Mike Hayes

Registers of Marriages from 1872 are still at the church (no burials here)". On page 20 of Birkenhead Central Library's "Family History Guide", 2nd Edition, (November 2003) :- Parish Registers :- Barnston (Christ Church) Various Microfiche Might be worth ringing Birkenhead Library (0151 652 6106 ext 7) to enquire whether "various" includes any marriages? If so then the ukbmd entry is incorrect as Christchurch Barnston has both a churchyard and a burial register.
