Hi Tomas Thank you again for finding the death of the correct Arnold S PERKINS, I had been chasing the wrong one! Arnold Smallman PERKINS b. Birkenhead 1882 s/o James Ephraim and Katherine (SMALLMAN) PERKINS. Arnold died in the Formby Nursing Home in 1941 aged 59. His wife Dorothy Annie Varley (MORTIMER) PERKINS lived at 57 Moor Lane, Crosby until 1960. Dorothy died in 1980 aged 84and her death was registered in the Sefton South District. At age 18 Arnold was a bank clerk and I wonder if he worked in banking all his life.. It would be interesting to find out if anyone from the Moor Lane area in the 1970s knew Dorothy. I live in hope!
