Hi all, if, like me you bypass the home page of the LDS website you may have missed the link to the prototype search page. The site mentions 'millions of new records' I was able to discover some new facts. There does seem to be different records available as well as links to 1841 and 1861 censuses (pay per view sites) and Ellis Island. It is still under development but well worth a visit. You might need to narrow the search fields and like most sites it works well with unusual names!
