Hi Margaret and Robin - welcome to the list - please see my reply to Walter. See you when I get back - will be visiting New Lanark on Monday, from whence my Great Grandmother came to Liverpool Marged On 2/10/08 18:20, "Marged" <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello Margaret, a new member - I wonder if you have any experience of how to > use Scotland's People site? Hi Robin/Walter Jones Not sure precisely what kind of help is on offer here - advice on how to use the pay-per-view site or look-ups using unused credits thereto? If the latter, I would very much appreciate any information on a David MACONOCHIE (b1800-01 Montrose) and/or Agnes FAIRWEATHER (b 1810/11 Dundee) who married in Liverpool St Luke on 31 July 1834. Their eldest son George Fairweather MACONOCHIE (b1835 Liverpool) married my 1st cousin 3 times removed Elizabeth EVANS (b1843 CHS Liscard) on 20 January 1863 in Liverpool St John. Hello Gordon, Very good to hear from you, I hope you're keeping well? S/People, from me meant mainly look-ups, but not the technicalities of the site, as I try to keep it simple, however, a little experimentation doesn't hurt does it? Right, I've had a quick look for your David and Agnes, nothing showing for the actual dates you give, a couple of Davids, but not in Montrose, 7 Agnes's, various Dates, but, do you have any Parents names for either party? as this might help to pin down a result. Your question Re:- Elizabeth Evans b1843. I only have Henry and Barbara, their Info:- from your good self on 19-11-06, but nothing foir any children, up to now anyway, and now I have their (M) date/place. Kind Regards. --- On Thu, 9/10/08, Gordon Evans <[email protected]> wrote: > From: Gordon Evans <[email protected]> > Subject: Re: [ENG-MERSEYSIDE] Scotland's People > To: [email protected] > Date: Thursday, 9 October, 2008, 5:45 PM > Hi Robin/Walter Jones > > Not sure precisely what kind of help is on offer here - > advice on how to > use the pay-per-view site or look-ups using unused credits > thereto? > If the latter, I would very much appreciate any information > on a David > MACONOCHIE (b1800-01 Montrose) and/or Agnes FAIRWEATHER (b > 1810/11 Dundee) > who married in Liverpool St Luke on 31 July 1834. > Their eldest son George Fairweather MACONOCHIE (b1835 > Liverpool) married my > 1st cousin 3 times removed Elizabeth EVANS (b1843 CHS > Liscard) on 20 January > 1863 in Liverpool St John. > > Regards > Gordon > > From: "Margaret" > <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Friday, October 03, 2008 11:27 PM > Subject: Re: [ENG-MERSEYSIDE] Scotland's People > > >On 2/10/08 18:20, "Marged" > <[email protected]> wrote: > >Hello Margaret, a new member - I wonder if you have any > experience of how > >to > >use Scotland's People site? > >Yes lots been using almost from day one > >How can we help/ > >Robin (& Margaret) > >Robin and Margaret McEwen-King > >Lanark Scotland > > > > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > [email protected] with the word > 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and > the body of the message
