Mary Fletcher CLARKE was born at Runcorn in 1847. She was the daughter of Peter CLARKE and Sarah ECCLES. The family's usual residence was in Liverpool, but Peter, a Customs Officer, had temporarily been posted to Runcorn. The last record I have of Mary is as a witness to her brother's wedding in 1864. I can find no record of her on the census after that, nor any record that I can definitely say is her marriage or death. Does anyone know anything of Mary? David
