    3. Hi Eleanor Thank you for posting the link to Gwyn & Val HUGHES' website, of which I was in fact already aware but which could well prove of interest to other listers. Val HUGHES (nee ECCLES) is my 5th cousin once removed, her roots tracing back to my 4 x great-grandfather Peter JONES (Hoylake fisherman from the mid-1770's) and ultimately to the marriage of Michael ECCLES & Catherine HULTON on 8 July 1737 in Formby St Peter. Val's great-grandmother Annie PARR (b1865 Hoose) is believed to have been a 5 x great-grandaughter to my 6 x great-grandfather Richard SHERLOCK, baptised on 16 January 1674 in Woodchurch Holy Cross. Rather intriguing, therefore, that this thread also concerns a Richard SHORLICAR, baptised on 9 October 1664 in Formby St Peter? Here is a website for the Hoylake ECCLES family photos and a Hughes gedcom to go with it. I can't view it for whatever the reason (java runtime) but maybe it can shed some light on what you are looking for. I also notice a PARR photo and Hoylake fishing boat "the Queen" photo _Family Tree Maker's Genealogy Site: User Home Pages: Family Histories from North Wales_ (http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:x0pHcW7m6TcJ:familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/h/u/g/Gwyn-Hughes/index.html+eccle s+family+history&cd=32&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us) If I find anything of more significance I'll let you know. Knowing your keen eye for things perhaps you probably have already seen it but maybe other Sherlock researchers may also find it of interest. _http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:UP9T5WzanlUJ:sholicar. wordpress.com/another-test-page/6-more-to-follow/+SHORLICAR&cd=1&hl=en&ct=cl nk&gl=us_ (http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:UP9T5WzanlUJ:sholicar. wordpress.com/another-test-page/6-more-to-follow/+SHORLICAR&cd=1&h l=en&ct=clnk&gl=us) _6. 16th, 17th, 18th Centuries « ::: the SHOLICAR pages :::_ (http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:UP9T5WzanlUJ:sholicar. wordpress.com/ another-test-page/6-more-to-follow/+SHORLICAR&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us) Have a good day Eleanor
