    3. Hi, according to the historical directories website, Marlborough College is at the same address (8&10 Marlborough Rd) and with Wilkinson Frederick John and Frederick in the 1890s (Kelly's 1894) and 1900 (Gores) but there is also a Marlborough School (ladies) at 24 Marlborough Rd. Do either of these establishments still exist? And I've lost my notes, can someone please remind me of the name and date of the Reverend I'm looking for? (sorry!), Marian ______________________________________________ This email has been scanned by Netintelligence http://www.netintelligence.com/email

    3. Hi Marian Marlborough College in Marlborough Road, Tuebrook was a private school in 1911. Headmaster Frederick John WILKINSON was born c1863 in Travancore, Madras, India - his father Frederick WILKINSON c1833 in Trinidad, West Indies. Frederick John was registered with the Teachers' Registration Council on 1 February 1921, professional address Marlborough College, Tuebrook, Liverpool. He attained Intermediate Examinations in Arts at the Universities of both London and Victoria. He listed his experience as (i) assistant master at the School for Sons of Missionaries in Blackheath (1880-1882); (ii) Berkhempstead School, Hertfordshire (1884-1891) and (iii) Head Master of Marlborough College, Tuebrook from 1892. Audrey's great-uncle was the reverend John Hamilton COOK, who doesn't feature under that name in the Teachers' Register 1870-1948.
