Thanks for posting this, Marged - was pleasantly surprised to find two of 'mine' in there :- 'Deaths 1856 Jane COOPER, aged 77, of Wallasey' Believed to be nee Jane MOORCROFT (b1778 Ormskirk) who married sailmaker George COOPER (b1782 Wallasey) on 22 December 1811 in Liverpool St Nicholas. Son Richard COOPER (b1817 Wallasey), butcher and sometime licensee of the Ship Inn in Wallasey, caused quite a scandal when he committed suicide in a cell at Liscard Bridewell on 8 December 1873. 'Marriages 1874 MUTCH/JORDAN, Jan 15th, by licence, Christ Church, Kensington, Thomas MUTCH to Miss Ann JORDAN, both of Upton, Cheshire' Didn't seem to last, though, since Thomas was back living with his MUTCH family in censuses 1891 & 1901, describing himself as single, and was widowed by 1911.
