Hi all, I'm trying to follow in Gordon's footsteps with a bit of lateral thinking. Hannah Silcock (Sincock's) burial gives her age in 1795 as 61, therefore she should be born c.1734. I've just come across a baptism in Cprd, in Bidston, on 26 May 1735 of a Hannah NEWBAT, daughter of John, Occupation *Householde, SAGH. Could this possibly be Hannah NEWPORT, and her dad had (a) a heavy cold, (b) a strong accent, or (c) the vicar was slightly hard of hearing? Kind regards, Yvonne
