    2. Hi Gordon, Well I must say the Saladin story was an interesting read on a dreary rainy day. But on a sad note, I perused the Liverpool message board mentioned in a previous email. You can imagine the dismay I felt upon keying in HUNTINGTON only to find in a 2005 post that a photo album containing many of my family's photos was up for sale on ebay. I called ebay to see if they would say had it been sold and if yes/no would they contact the seller to no avail. I hope it was salvaged by a family member. So sad - too bad I missed out. That's me Johnny-come-lately. Oh well.... Have a good night! Eleanor In a message dated 1/18/2011 6:12:00 P.M. His nephew John TREVASKISS (b1844 Liverpool) married, as his first wife, a distant relative of mine with the unlikely name of Caroline TURTLE (b1847 Liverpool). This is one of Caroline's great-grandaughters in someone else's on-line family tree :- http://www.davebrady.co.uk/trevaskissmargaret1929.htm Regards Gordon From: <Preulet@aol.com> To: <eng-merseyside@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, January 18, 2011 6:09 PM Subject: Re: [ENG-MERSEYSIDE] HANCOCK, Thomas's son of Jane PARR >Hi Again George, >I just read about the murder, mayhem and trial of the Saladin, quite >interesting. >Here's a link for anyone desiring an account: >http://tiny.cc/cou4t_ (http://tiny.cc/cou4t) >Regards >Eleanor ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to ENG-MERSEYSIDE-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message

    3. Hi Eleanor Wondered if you'd ever been in touch with Elaine Rosenberg in Queensland Australia (hopefully not under too much water just now!) who posted on this list for a while a few years ago, viz :- http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/eng-merseyside/2007-01/1169983092 HUNTINGTON from Wirral & Liverpool being her family line, could she perhaps have snapped up the pics advertised on E-bay in 2005?
