    3. Hi Pam, Many thanks for the census details you've sent. The only other 'definite' record I've found is for a burial at Woodchurch, 26 October 1803, John Davies son of John and Hannah Davies of Barnston, but I can't find the matching baptism. I'm puzzled as to why John and Hannah Davies were so favoured in the will. I'm assuming that John Silcock must have died by the time of his father's will, as he and his family weren't mentioned, even 'tho he had several children, unless he had had a previous settlement. It looks as 'tho Elizabeth Silcock may have had an illegitimate child, Mary Silcock, baptised 22 June 1794 at St. Bridget's, West Kirby. Maybe that's why she was out of favour, with only one shilling left to her. It looks as 'tho Philip never married, son of John Davies and Hannah. I wonder what happened to all the 'dosh'. Kind regards, Von Pam Craven Sent: 15 January 2011 16:41 To: eng-merseyside@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [ENG-MERSEYSIDE] Robert Silcock's will dated 21st May 1817 Hi Von no further info thought I'd found a daughter Ann bap Neston 6 Dec 1797 (only 3/4 miles away from Barnston) but 2 babies in 8 months is stretching it a bit?
