could some kind soul look up these names on the 1851 index.WILLIAM HOLDEN(HOULDING ), AUGUSTA HOLDEN(HOULDING), CHARLES HAWKINS< FRANCES HOLDEN (HOULDING). thank you.
Gay, Thanks for all your time and efforts on this. Friend that sent me the image also copied and pasted the transcription of the household and after I sent email to the list I took a peek at the image. I can't make it out myself...so maybe someone else with access to Ancestry can take a look and see what they think it is...I only glanced at the census image after seeing the transcription and didn't notice the Holley/Jolley till after I went on to search for something else. Could anybody tell me which woiuld be the nearest RC Church to Henry Edward Street in the 1860s - 1880s? Henry Edward Street ran (and part of it still runs!) between Standish Street and Fontenoy Street. It is parallel to, but a few roads north of, Great Homer Street. Would it have been Holy Cross & St Mary? Anyone any ideas? Rachel
