    3. Hi Marged, I knew about the charge but I thought that it was 75 credits per peek. 50 credits is a bit better. maybe I'll invest a fiver! Best wishes Leon Marged <marged36@btopenworld.com> wrote: I joined Genes Reunited some time around Christmas, and for a short while found it interesting, but didn't get any new information. They wrote to me yesterday suggesting that I should search the 1901 "Free", which I tried, only to find that it was only the very first search of the name that was free - when they found the person, it was necessary to buy 500 credits for £5.00 - which I did, of course. It's 50 credits per look at a household - so I am only going to get 10 peeks for my £5 which I think it quite expensive. 3. Yes it is a good idea. My families are Chapman descended from James William born circa 1850 in Kent but living most of his life in Birkenhead and Bootle; married to Margaret with children Amelia, Agnes, Beatrice, Matthew and Walter (my grandfather) Wetherhead -my grandmother's maiden name she was Jane Wetherhead born 03/08/1891 but I can find no record of her birth or census return. I think I have found her father Richard and his Parents Thomas and Jane living in the Kirkdale/Scotland Rd area between 1861 and 1891 but cannot establish a definite link Wright - my grandfather was Joseph Wright and I have traced his parents John and Ellen (nee Larkin) in the Waterloo area in 1891 and 1901 but I cannot definitely trace them back further than that except that his father was called Thomas and was born in Dublin. Seddon, my maternal grandmother's name. She was Rachel daughter of James and Margaret born in 1899. I have been unable to trace either James or Margaret (nee Hind) in the records but they lived in the Waterloo area, James dying in 1954 and Margaret in 1965. Any information gratefully received.
