Hello David Not an answer to your question, but I thought you may be interested to know that my Mum worked as a maid for Joseph Corbett-Lowe and his sisters Kathleen and Monica at 45 Canning Street in the early 1930s. The family had lived at no. 91 - they were a big family and Joseph and his sisters moved to 45, maybe when their parents died. Joseph worked at the Cotton Exchange. I am interested in making contact with anyone who knows anything about descendants of Ernest Broadway BROCKLEY and Mary CLEGG who married at St Mark's, Lache-cum-Saltney in 1913. The family later lived at Sumpters Pathway, Hoole. Ernest and Mary had 2 children, Lavinia born in 1914 and Donald born 1920. Donald, who was in the RAF, was killed over Germany in 1942. I have the census and BMD information I need. What I am interested in is making contact with descendants or anyone who knew of the family.
