The next meeting of the Bolton branch of the Manchester & Lancashire Family History Society (MLFHS) will be on Wednesday, September 4th. Margaret Currie will present Part 2 of her talk about Beatrix Potter looking at her "Lakeland Legacy." This time we look at her marriage and settling in Cumbria, investment in the local economy, and contribution to and eventual gift to the National Trust. The venue as usual is Bolton Cricket Club, off Green Lane Farnworth BL3 2JB. The meeting starts at 7.30pm. All welcome and help is available afterwards to assist private researchers.
