    3. Hi. I have been researching my great grandfather CHARLES WILLIAM COLEMAN B 1861 in Natal SA. (No record of birth or christening has been found in South Africa) He was publican in the 1911 census at the Masons Arms. My grandmother was born at 19 Jacksons row manchester. In 1906. I have been unable to find any details of his father CHARLES WILLIAM COLEMAN SNR or mother (name unknown). Except for his name on a marriage certificate of his son CHARLES . I believe the family may have been publicans in the area or in wales. Does anyone know of a way to find any details of history of pubs in the area and their managers. I have not been able to find anything on any sites. Regards Karen
