No doubt this is the marriage you are looking for - can't see a baptism 1829 though. From Lancashire OPC records. Marriage: 17 Feb 1817 St Laurence, Chorley, Lancashire, England Thomas Bamber - Bachelor, Chorley Ann Tootell - Spinster, Chorley Witness: John Tootell; Ann Woods Married by Banns by: Richard Hodgson, Officiating Minister Register: Marriages 1813 - 1827, Page 75, Entry 223 Source: LDS Film 93705 However, there is a baptism in 1835, perhaps of interest. Baptism: 20 Mar 1835 St Chad, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, England Thomas Bamber - Son of Thomas Bamber & Anne Abode: Poulton Occupation: Shoemaker Baptised by: R. Bowness Source: LDS Film 1517688 There is a Thomas Bamber, a Port Dealer (people often changed their occupations) born circa 1830, shown in the 1841 census at Fishergate, Preston (where my Bambers came from) with a father Thomas and mother Ann. May be of interest to you. Do you have idea if your Thomas had any siblings? So far I don't have a Thomas in my family. Best wishes Graham Melbourne Oz
