Hi Carol, I use all those sources and find, they are all different, the way they work and what records they have to search. You just have to figure out which holds the most that you are interested in. The way they work is just a matter of trial and error and practise. If you're concerned about subscriptions, the familysearch is free no matter where you are. Ancestry and FMP access are available free at any Public library or LDS Family History Centre. Check out their data bases and pick whatever suits you. If you're putting your own tree on there, I find Ancestry the easiest. Hope this has been of some help to you.
