They lived in Manchester for a number of years from around 1900 On the 1911 census Barnett is listed as being from Pheterchof Ackerve which could be Petersberg but he is listed as being Polish. His wife is Dora(h) Finestein and they married around 1871. She was from Russia and is listed as being from Nycotod, and haven't a clue where that could be or where to start searching. This is Jewish family history and very new to me. Their son is Joe/Joseph Solomon who I am particulary interested in. He is Joe on his birth cert but on one census is Joseph and also on his death cert. He is listed on the Manchester Schools admission and on enlisting for the army in 1918. Really would love to find more on his parents but haven't a clue how to go about this. Any help greatly received.
