    3. Hi David Pretty good deal, huh? ;-) If anyone is actually interested in adminning any lists or message boards, there are a lot to go around. To see what lists need new admins, go to <http://lists.rootsweb.ancestry.com/> and look at the bottom right corner under the title "About Mailing Lists" and click on "here." That link will take you to <http://resources.rootsweb.ancestry.com/adopt/> where you can browse the categories of the available lists: Surnames, U.S. Counties, and All Other Topics. If you see one that takes your fancy, go to <http://resources.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/listrequest.pl> and complete the form. If there is no list that covers the area, surname. or topic of your interest, you can ask to have a list created. Go to the same link as above, <http://resources.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/listrequest.pl> and complete the form. Finding available message boards is a little trickier. Use Google or another search engine and enter into the search field: site:http://boards.ancestry.com/localities "volunteer to admin" and you'll be presented with a list of available boards. Sometimes it's difficult to determine from the search results exactly what the names of the boards are so you'll have to follow the links to the boards to find out. There you'll also see on the right side of the screen a link under Page Tools that says "Volunteer to Admin." Click on the link and follow the directions. Easy peasy. If there's no board to match your interests, you can request one. Go to the bottom of any board screen where you'll see these links: Return to Message Boards | Request New Board | Community Guidelines | Board Help | Board FAQ | Send Feedback Click on "Request New Board" and follow the directions.
