Hi Madalyn, I can only do a rough estimate, my maps are not on paper and this is spread across two maps, it makes it difficult to measure them. From Bird street I would guess its about 1/2 mile or less to Williamson and Willow in a south east direction. I cannot locate Bird street in 1844. I dont think it was built in that time period. Hi Mike, Many thanks for additional info. - places are much nearer than I anticipated - very do-able by foot. At least you know they could walk along Broughton road to get to these two places.
