Hi, We have recently discovered an ancestor who left North Wales and settled in Rhodes, Middleton. This motivated us to visit the excellent Reference Library in Middleton. We found that he lodged with a Newall family at 54 Barman's Walk, Rhodes. Our ancestors name was John Edward Ellis who was born in 1891 at South Hetton in Durham. Very soon after his birth his Welsh parents returned to Holywell Wales, Can anyone connect with this Ellis family or have any information ? Regards Iris and John Ellis P.S.
