Hi List, About 12 months ago, before I had a rest from genealogy, there was a member of this list called Mike. He had wonderful maps and lots of local knowledge. (Presently living in ?Canada or somewhere else USA) He was a great help to lots of people including myself. I just wonder if he is still subscribed. I have recently borrowed a CD (old map) and am having a nightmare placing the portion of map sent to me by Mike! It has made me realise (even more) how time consuming it must have been for him to look up numerous streets (no indexing on these maps!!) If Mike is still out there - I only want his expert opinion - not a look-up! Any one else an expert on Hulme around 1890 ? Gratefully hoping, Pat W
