Hi again folks, I was just asking for help with Stafford Street, and said I needed to ask about another street which was eluding me. But I have found it, thanks! Just for the record, it was tucked in between City Road and the River Medlock, at the back of the Glass Works off Medlock Street. Handy because the WALTON family member in River Place was a glassmaker. I had thought it was "River Road" which didn't seem to exist but then on checking the census page more carefully I found in fact it was "River Place", with "Pl." looking a bit like "Rd." at first glance.
