Hi List, l recently located a newspaper article which interested me greatly.It concerns the selling of Eleven high bred Coach Horses which had just ceased working the BeeHive Coach. They were owned by a Mr Hadley.The Sale was 28/01/1836. As our Thomas and Elizabeth lived in Smithy Lane prior to his death and he was,amongst other things,an Ostler, then l wonder if there was any connection between Star stables and Thomas.For those who are unsure of where Smithy Lane is,Mike Morris kindly told me me many years ago that it runs North off Bk Bridge street,which is off Bridge street.Does anyone know anything re Star Stables?
