    3. Hi Jackie I have sent this reply off list because some peoplewill say that it isnt a relevant topic. It is very sad and a sign of the times. I have not been to my parents grave in over a year for the same reason, I am waiting until a convenient time for someone to take me. I live in Cheshire but it is just the same here, kind regards Ann ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jackie" <jackie005@soms.fsnet.co.uk> To: <eng-manchester@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, June 02, 2008 10:45 AM Subject: [ENG-MAN] Southern Cemetery graves. > As stated, Southern Cemetery graveyard is huge and also there is the > Cremeturium Garden of Rememberence. > > I had reason to believe that my Loval/Lovely- Towhey's were buried there. > > I visited the Cemetery Office asking if they could give me the grave > numbers, unfortuantely there was not any record of my ancestors being > buried there. > > Whilst I was walking through the grounds I was stopped by a Policeman who > told me that it was very dangerous to walk through the graveyard by myself > because a number of sexual assaults and muggings had taken place.
