Hi List, l neglected to mention that it is Thomas Pendlebury who was an Ostler at one stage and who resided in Smithy Lane.Looking at Mikes' map he had kindly sent me it is near a Hotel called the Star...l am wondering if the stables were associated with this hotel,there is also Coach works nearby.Bk bridge street which is also right there going by mikes' map is where Thomas Pendleburys' son,William,had his butcher shop later. Thomas appears to die between 1832-1836 but l have not yet located his death ,shame it's too early for anything but a cemetery record and we have not located that yet. Elizabeth is there until after 1861,she is independant.l have not been lucky enough to find her death neither.Looks like l have some work to do,any ideas?Thanking you,Pauline.
