Hi all I am currently trying to find Lavina Birch b. 1888 in Chorlton. She is on the 1901 census but I can't find her anywhere on the 1891 census. THe reason I am looking for her in 1891 is that the 1901 census does not state her mothers name and subsequently I have no way of tracing her parents marriage details. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Jonathan I found her birth Registration on FreeBMD. Births Sep 1888 Surname Given Name District Vol. Page BIRCH Lavinia Chorlton 8c 75 If you order the Birth Certificate from the GRO which is online and you can pay by debit or credit card you will then know who her parents were. Regards Joy Light
