Thanks Jan and Jane, have checked the LDS Catalogue but no Monumental inscriptions have been filmed. A Google search tells me Sale cemetery was opened in 1862 so Elizabeth could not have been buried there. Have also checked the Manchester Burial records which is online to no avail. Sandra Do you know if Sale Cemetery is in a Church ground? If so, have you looked at LDS Family History Library Catalogue, to see if they have a Film that covers the Church and the Time frame for Burials. If so, you can order the film at your local LDS FHC and see the Burials and maybe see the one you can't read on the headstone..........
