    3. Hello folks, As suggested by someone here, I am listing the streets associated with the WALTON family when they were living and manufacturing glass in the Hulme area 1861-1871. It would be terrific if anyone can find any of these for me? Or send me clips of maps of the date? I think they are all Hulme, but might spill over into Chorlton or Ancoats areas. Clopton Street, house no. 85 (Hulme Sub-reg. district of Chorlton District, St George's Municipal. Ward) Rutland Street, house no 31 (Hulme Sub-Reg. District of Chorlton, St. George's Municipal Ward) Stafford Street, house no. 12 (St George's Municipal Ward) Brookside, Hulme, house no. 12 (St. George's Ward) City Road, Hulme, house no. 43 (Medlock Municipal Ward, Hulme Sub-Reg. District of Chorlton District) River Road, house no. 4 (Hulme, Hulme Sub-Reg. District of Chorlton District) Welcom Street., house no. 66 (Medlock Municipal Ward) Glass Street, which should be off Medlock Street. There should be a glassworks there. *********************** Finally, in Salford in 1881: Craven Street, house number 63. (Regent Rd. sub-reg. district of Salford District) *********************** Thank you so much! I have been scrunching up my eyes on online maps today but only found City Road and even that may have been different by the quite late date of the map. BTW thanks for the link to that great online resource of maps of Lancashire. Thanks to that I have got further along with a search for an early glassmaking site in Liverpool. Sally in Yorkshire
