I am not sure but I would think that information would be protected and not be accessible by any means. At least I would hope no one would be able to gain access except for person having the passport & number. If you were able to gain access of information that would breach privacy rulings I would think. Perhaps someone else knows the answer. I would be very curious to know the answer also.
