It is District 17 of Hulme, 1841 All that part of Medlock St. Ward in the township of Hulme bounded by a line drawn in the centre of Ferneley Street from the River Medlock to Owen Street thence in the centres of Owen St and Welcomb St. to River Street Thence in the centre of River Street to Medlock St thence in the centre of Medlock St. to the river Medlock thence along the River Medlock to Ferneley St. and here are the pages, numbered with the streets that they cover: page 1 Ferneley St page 2 Owen St page 3 Pond St page 4 Pond Place etc page 5 and 6 Flora St page 7 Short St and Front St page 8 Beta St and Alpha St page 9 Alpha St page 10 Ferneley St and River Place Page 11 River Place and Bradshaw (?)
