Except for Regent rd, all the others are in the Manchester area. regarding Salford being under the Manchester banner, I doubt it. What about Pendleton and Eccles, Peel Park etc? Thery are all in thebSalford area and that is where I found them when I searched the census some years ago. Dorothy
Hi Dorothy, I have looked at Eccles and Pendleton in 1851 but there was nothing much there one had only a Moral and Industrial School in 1851 I knew that Regent Road area covered Salford but iI have since found out that Greengate covers Salford. According to Ancestry in 1851 it only shows Manchester for the enumeration districts this is where I found both Regent Road and Greengate a lot of them are badly damaged. Thank you for your suggestions Jean Djedoric58@aol.com wrote: Except for Regent rd, all the others are in the Manchester area. regarding Salford being under the Manchester banner, I doubt it.
