I believe that the reverse is true and that Manchester belonged to the Hundred of Salford. In practical terms however, I think that the river is considered the boundary. This leaves Ancoats, Deansgate, Newton, Hulme, London Road, St George, Market Street on the Manchester side and Greengate and Regent Road on the Salford side. Regards, Irene
