Hi Lilie, ON the 1901 census James E Nuttall is a crumpet baker working for himself. on the site www.lancashirebmd.org the marriage of James and Sarah is listed as taking place in Chorlton-on-Medlock,If you obtain this cert it will give you the names of their respective fathers,helping you to find their families on earlier census returns.
