    2. Taken from the Manchester Times and Gazette Saturday, Oct 8, 1842 On the 26th ult., aged 65 years, Mary, relict of the late Lionel LLOYD, Esq., of this town. On the 4th inst., at Derby House, Ardwick Place, Mrs SHUTTLEWORTH, wife of John SHUTTLEWORTH, Esq., stamp distributor for this district. On the 30th ult., Mabel Louisa, wif of Mr Robert BARNES, Brook Side, near Rusholme. On the 1st inst., awfully sudden, aged 53 years, Mr. William GREENWOOD, of this town. On the 30th ult., aged 23 years, George, only son of Mrs. MAWN, Aldred Steet, Salford. On the 4th inst., Mary, relict of the late Mr. James DUNCUFT, of Hollinwood. On the 29th ult., at his house, in Islington Square, Salford, in his 66th year, Mr. John DOWNES. On the 25th ult., in her 73rd year, Margaret, relict of the late Mr. Thomas SWANWICK, butcher, Chapel Street, Salford. On the 7th inst., aged one year and two months, Fanny, youngest daughter of Mr. John TAYLOR, of Clifford Street, Chorlton. On the 29th ult., Jane, second surving daughter of the late Bernard Hartley GREEN, Esq., of Islington, Salford. On the 2d inst., aged 72 years, Elizabeth, relict of the late Mr. Charles WALKER, of Grove Mills, Cheshire. On the 19th ult., aged 80 years, Martha, wife of Mr. John ENTWHISTLE, Park Street, Red Bank. On the 2d inst., at Higher Hall, near Leigh, in his 59th year, J. H. KEARSLEY, Esq., late M.P for Wigan. On the 5th inst., aged 72, Wm. BARRATT, Esq., of Newton Heath, senior partner in the house of "Messrs. John BARRAT and Sons," of this town. He was much respected; was a warm friend to the principles of civil and religious liberty, and his liberality and strenuous personal exertions for the promotion of those principles will be long remembered by all who knew him.
