Hi All I'm struggling to find the following family in 1861. William JOHNSON b 1806 Yorkshire Ann b 1811 Ireland William b 1831 Manchester (in 1861 he's with his wife Susannah at 5 New Islington, Ancoats) Ellen b 1833 Manchester Robert b 1835 Manchester John b 1837 Manchester (in 1861 him and his wife Sarah are lodging with his brother William in Ancoats) Sarah b 1840 Manchester (in 1861 she's in Duckinfield with husband William WALMSLEY) Agnes b 1842 Manchester In 1841 the family are at 19 Woodward St, Ancoats, Williams occupation is brewer In 1851 they are on Short St, St Jude district, again Williams occupation is brewer I know where children William, John and Sarah are, but where are the others?? There's a few possibles for Robert. I think William snr is dead by 1871 as in 1871 there is an Anna Dobson b 1811 widow Dublin, living with William and Susannah at 7 Horne St, St Jude district, she's down as the mother-in-law, but I suspect she's Williams mum Ann. I have no idea yet what part of Yorkshire William is from and so I'm really hoping he is still alive in 1861. Anyone help? Jane :o)
I've been searching, but no luck yet Jane!
