Dear Kathryn Thank you so much for your help in this matter. I think this has to be our Henry Barker although he must have remarried. It would appear that his wife, as shown on the census, Berry had children from a previous marriage ie Thomas and Mary Ann Thornton. I will work on this angle. Many thanks for using your access to Ancestry. I will be joining later in the year when I will have time to focus on genealogy and hope to help out others with 'look ups'.
