    3. I have both these streets next to each other on the south west corner of the old central station. They both ran into Deansgate at the west end of the streets. There was a methodist chapel just to the south of Lombard on Great Bridgewater street. Two street north of Fleet and west of Deansgate was St Johns Church. This was next door to the County court. North east of Fleet almost facing the Central station was St Peters church. Walk up Deansgate and you would reach the cathedral, not that far in them days. To the west of these streets a stones throw is a church, the map does not show a name.
