Hello Does anyone have a connection with WILLIAM SHEPHERD born around 1799/1800 Hulme and his brother JAMES SHEPHERD born around 1805, Hulme. They were both joiners and both the children of GEORGE SHEPHERD, a shoemaker of Hulme. Can anyone tell me which churches were around in Hulme and adjacent Manchester at this time where I may be able to locate their baptisms? Are there any online resources about boot and shoe making in Lancashire in th 1800s that anyone is aware of? Finally, does anyone have any maps of the Hulme area from the 1800s which they may have scanned and would be happy to share and email? Many thanks Rob
