    2. Can I just add that the records on this site are by no means complete, I know of family buried in all of the cemeteries whose records are not online. 2. Can I add that if you ring the Blackley Cemetery office, I've found them to always be really helpful. They even sent me a map of Gorton Cemetery and told me over the phone where my great grandparents were buried. Even told me which grave to look for next to it as mine didn't have a headstone! The number I have for the office is the same one Pat gave in the earlier mail (0161 740 5359). There is also a fax number which might be more useful for those overseas - 0161 795 3512. Didn't charge me anything either which is always a bonus! Hope this helps someone. 2. Hi Val Last time I rang them, about 3 months ago, I was told to go online! 2. Hi Jane Oops! and they were so nice to me. Maybe it's a council thing then to direct all queries to the web site. The guy I spoke with couldn't have been more helpful. I felt like he'd gone over and beyond the call of duty. I'm sorry you had a bad experience. arcmikmum@talktalk.net wrote: > Hi Val > > Last time I rang them, about 3 months ago, I was told to go online! > > Jane :o) > > > >
