I did not find an Oswald Kendall with parents John and Agnes on the 1891 or 1901 census returns,but on the 1881 census the family including an older brother John M Kendall aged 4 are living in Ashley Cheshire.All were born in Manchester On the site www.lancashirebmd.org.uk there is a birth registration for an Oswald Kendall in Chorlton-on-Medlock ( Manchester area) in 1880.This site also provides info on purchasing the certificate.
